How do you know if your horse needs an adjustment? Here are some checks and clues, to decide whether or not chiropractic care should be pursued.
If your horse shows obvious discomfort when he’s ridden, you surely need to check for a sore back. Have someone else hold your horse, while you use one hand to put pressure on both sides of the spine, checking for tenderness, or obvious pain. He may shudder like he’s trying to shed a fly, but that’s different. This is a twitch or a tightening of the muscles.
Signs that your dog might need chiropractic care.
Livestock? Exotic animals? Sure!
The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) certifies Doctors of Chiropractic and Doctors of Veterinary Medicine in Animal Chiropractic. Doctors first complete 220 hours of instruction in an approved program, and are then eligible to take the AVCA Certification Examination.
